Post to Facebook from Claude

How it works

1. Claude calls list_channels to find your Facebook channel.
2. It calls get_channel_rules to learn the Facebook limit, media needs and settings.
3. It writes the post and runs check_post, which returns any rule problems.
4. It picks a time with find_free_slot if you did not give one, shows you the post, and calls schedule_post after you say yes.

Facebook rules Claude follows

• Up to 10 photos or 1 video. Facebook cannot mix photos and a video in 1 post.
• The link preview setting only works on posts without photos or video.
• Follow-up comments are posted by the Page, a good place for a link.

Facebook settings the agent can use

These go in channels[].settings of schedule_post. Claude learns them from get_channel_rules, so you can just describe what you want.

Tips for Facebook posts written with Claude

• Tell Claude who the post is for and what you want people to do. "Write a Facebook post for small shop owners that asks them to book a demo" works better than "write a post".
• Start the chat with a few lines about your tone and the words to use or avoid. Claude writes the text itself, so it needs this to sound like you.
• Ask for 2 or 3 versions and pick 1. It is faster than asking for changes 5 times.
• Say "save as drafts" when you want to check the posts on the calendar before they are scheduled.
• Add 1 detail only you know, like a real number from your business or a customer question. It makes the post yours.
