3 ways networks connect

Every network works a little differently, because Postozo follows the way each network's own API works. There are 3 kinds:

Before you connect anything

  • Create your Postozo account and open the Calendar.
  • Make sure you have the right account type on the network. For example, Instagram needs a Business or Creator account, and Facebook needs a Page you manage.
  • Check your plan limit. Each Page, account, blog or location counts as 1 channel. The Page list shows how many you can still add.
  • Use the account that really owns or manages the Page. Admin rights matter on Facebook, LinkedIn and Google Business Profile.

When something goes wrong

If a sign-in fails, Postozo brings you back to the Calendar and says what happened in plain words, with a fix and a Try again button. If you turned off a permission on the network screen, the message names it. If no Pages or locations are found, the list explains why and links to the network's own help page. Each guide lists the errors for that network.

Questions

How many channels can I connect?

It depends on your plan: Standard 5, Team 10, Pro 30, Ultimate 100. Each Page, account, blog or location is 1 channel.

Do you store my passwords?

For sign-in networks, no. You sign in on the network and it gives Postozo a key. For the other networks you give an app password, token or key, not your main password where the network allows it. Everything is stored encrypted.

Can I add many Pages or locations at once?

Yes. For Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google Business Profile, Tumblr, you sign in once and tick every Page, account, blog or location you want.

What happens when a connection stops working?

Postozo marks the channel with a warning, pauses its posts, and tells you. Press Reconnect channel in the channel menu. Your posts and settings stay.
